I Found An Old Fortune Cookie:

"You have a reputation for being straightforward and honest." Creepy.

"So what's new in Kyle Country?"

Well, hmmmm. Not a whole lot. I have an interview for Media Play on Monday, so that's cool. I like media.

Last Friday I went to see the new Batman movie. It's awesome. That's really all I care to say at this point. Then on Saturday I went to Showplace to see C.T.'s friend's band play (and another band). That was a lot of fun. Good bands. I really liked Agent Me in particular.
I hadn't been there in a long time and once I got there I just started thinking of all the times I'd been there, all the bands, and all the memories. The first time I saw Shai Hulud and was totally taken back by the mic-check. I saw Slick Shoes with bands like Big Wig and The Juliana Theory. Good Charlotte back when they could actual play a venue that small. I remember Nick didn't have a ticket, and tried to sneak in with a very little known band there to see the show, Simple Plan, but they couldn't. However he was snuck in by the Chupa Chup girls. Very hott. Midtown and Piebald...very interesting evening. H2O with local Binghamton band Autopilot Off. Lots of good times.

I've been doing a lot of relaxing, looking for a job, going to the gym, and hanging out. Greg and I went to lunch last week. That was cool. He was working in the area. It also looks like we can get a futon from his ex-roommate for 15 bucks. I like that.

Erik came over last night. That was a lot of fun.

Today I went to lunch/dinner with Audrey. She paid. I liked that. Good times.

So get this: The other day the dog was biting me, so I smacked it and said "no." The dog goes running off and I get up to go to the kitchen. I see he is in front of my room and he looks like he is about to jump on me. So I get closer and realize he is pissing in front of my door! That rat bastard knew that was my room so he went and peed in front of it! That dog is going to make me a delicious dinner someday.

Well that's all I care to write, for now. To all the haters, of which I am sure there are a few, go fuck yourselves.

To the people I see who look at my journal, a certain amount of which I didn't think wanted to keep up with me, drop me a line. Seriously, don't just read this, actually have a conversation. It'll be nice to catch up.

Oh man, I almost forgot...I'm going to try and be in this movie that's being shot in Buffalo. It's called Poultryguist. I am about to send them a headshot for a specific role. Here is the description of the character:

Hungry Guy: male/18+
Irate and frustrated customer at a drive-thru window. Must have great comedic timing.
I think I might just get the role.

"I'm On My Way To The Top Of The World..."

I got my car back yesterday. I've had my dad's van for a while now as he had my car and was trying to fix it. It looks pretty good...all things considered. He dented it back out good, repainted it, and put in a new tail-light for me. He also put in a new muffler. However, I did put the pinstripes back on the part that he fixed. Ok, so he did a lot more than me and I really appreciate it. The whole thing will probably cost me about 150 bucks, which is a lot cheaper than I thought it would be (because I didn't have to pay for labor). This reminds me, don't forget Father's Day. I'm pretty sure it is this Sunday.

In job news --I'm still unemployed. I haven't even gotten a call-back. What the heck?!?! I talked to the people at Sears and if they need a person with my availability I'm hired. So we will see what happens.

In music news:
New MxPx C.D. is awesome. Their last two were both let downs, in my opinion. Each had a handful of really good songs, but I hardly ever listened to the entire album. Then this new album came out and it is incredible. I'm really happy it wasn't another let down or I probably would have lost interest in any of their new material.

I see Comeback Kid is playing Buffalo this summer. I'm excited.

Alright, we need to talk about something for a moment. I put a counter on my journal to see who reads because I wasn't sure if it was worth my time. In the process I have seen a lot of weird people reading it. Some I don't care about, but some need to get a fucking life. Here are the two in particular:

Lou26D Who the fuck are you and why do you read my journal?
KikiAnd1Eye Who the fuck are you and why do you read my journal?

A bunch I know who they are, even if they did create new screen names because I blocked their old ones. Here's a hint...find out what an IP Address is.

If you are not one of those two people, then you are cool with me...but for the love of God, if you are going to read my journal, at least talk to me too. Just reading it is creepy.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh...here is my favorite:

10 minutes ago I see that someone from wayyy back looked at my journal:
Chris "The Whole World Knows I'm Gay, Except Me" Lippa!! Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. I haven't talked to you in how many fucking years?! Three, right? And when we ended our "friendship" I'm pretty damn sure I made it clear, even to an oblivious douchebag like you, that I hated you and never wanted you talking to me, talking about me, or even thinking of me. I'm sorry you had such a hard-on for me that you had to go and try (oh so unsuccessfully) to steal away the girl I wanted, but I don't think that excuses it at all. "I hope everything that you ever love dies in your arms." What a pathetic fuck you are. After all these years, it made sense in your warped mind to look at my journal? Hahahaha. Only to me could something like this happen. Fucking ridiculous.

Quit Eating That Dead Horse

I'm back in Buffalo and I finally have cable and internet.

Here's a rundown of some of the highlights from Endicott:

-I got to watch the season finale of Lost with my Mom, who is the person who got me into the show to begin with. (To anyone who cares, ABC will be rerunning the entire first season over the summer, I suggest you check it out. The second episode airs Wednesday night, I think at 10).
-I spent most of my days working at the house my dad is fixing up to sell. A lot of alone time in a dingee basement was nice.
-Wing night with Jim and Maria (and Jim giving me the first season of Arrested Development).
-Seeing Revenge of the Sith on opening day and then again on my birthday. On opening day we got to see a few people dressed up, which is always amusing. Afterward we went to Spot diner and I got some French Onion Soup. God I love that stuff. (Wet napkin?)
-Watching White Noise.
-My birthday celebrations...even though now that I am 22 I don't get money from nearly as many people.
-The funny birthday cards I received.
-Survivor season finale with the Ketchum side of the family, even though I have never watched the show before.
-I got to play softball with my dad's team. It was pretty cool because I was catching, my dad was pitching (Dan, get your mind out of the gutter), and my grandpa was playing first base. The sun was in my grandpa's eyes for the first few innings and he totally took one to the temple. It was pretty damn funny. My legs were sore for like three or four days after the game because despite popular belief I do not spend that much time on my knees.
-Eating filet mignon, crab legs, clams, and mussels on my birthday.
-Seeing my cousin Shane pitch for U.B.
-Helping my grandpa put a new roof on his cottage's outhouse. What a crappy job that was.
-Seeing my family and friends.

That's about all I can remember. Being home for a little was nice, but then I came back to Buffalo and a lot of suckiness ensued:

-On the last day my car was going to be parked on the road, because we now have off-street parking, (and coincidently the night of my birthday) it was hit and fucked up the back corner of my car real bad. Only to me could something like that happen on my birthday and the last night I'd park it on the street. Anyway, it must have been some drunk asshole. No note or anything. Luckily my dad was able to take it home with him, leaving me his van until we switch back, and he was able to get the giant dent out pretty good. Well good enough to fit a new light fixture in there. I still haven't seen it yet though. So I don't know when we will be making the switch back.
-I also need a new muffler.
-While cleaning out my old apartment I got a 100 dollar ticket for parking in a handicap spot, which is bullshit because I parked in a spot that had no handicap signs or paint, and with yellow lines. But apparently it is handicapped because two spots over there is a sign with an arrow. So learn from my mistake, no matter where you park, look around for handicap signs.
-This means I am out about 300 or so bucks, which is great because I haven't found a new job yet.

But through all of this I am still doing alright. We are all moved in at our new house and really liking it. I have way more room to hangout in, even though my actual bedroom is small. Greg came over for a while last night which was cool. We got to catch up. Then a little while after he left Thor, the person, called me and was getting out of work at the museum so he came over. It was a good night.

Speaking of Thor, our house is infested with this dog named Thor. Yeah, that's right, I said infested! Nah, he's cool, even if he is retarded and does barrel roles off of the couch.

After seeing Revenge of the Sith, Kim wanted to watch all the other Star Wars movies, so that has been a good thing to do while we didn't have internet or cable. It's cool seeing all of the films now. The only down side is now I keep fantasizing about being a Jedi with all the mind tricks and lightsaber skills. Whoa, I am kind of pathetic.

Some odds and ends and an explanation:

-I bought Planes, Trains and Automobiles for real cheap the other week. It is such a funny movie.
-I also bought the new Hurt Process C.D. It is really good. It's like their other album but with a little metal thrown in. The sticker on the front said it came with a "Free Air Guitar." Pretty funny.
-I got a lightsaber spoon out of a Corn Pops box. Pretty frick'n rad!

In really big news, I got a cell phone. Now hear me out because I know what a lot of you are thinking (and what some of you have already been saying). I got a 200 to 300 dollar phone for free and I pay 35 bucks a month, which is about the same as a landline. So morally I can still sleep at night and look myself in the mirror knowing I am not paying way too much for a phone. It's cool because so far everyone I know has Verizon too, except for Matt. Why does he always feel the need to be different?! So to those of you who want to call me a hypocrite or to tell me I sold my soul, save yourself the effort, I know. If you want my number just ask me. I'm not going to put it online because I don't want the people who I don't know calling me and the people online stalking me to have it either. Cool Tom (at least I think it was him) was telling me once that people saw his number online and would prank him. No one wants that.

Well that's about it for now. Leave it.

Here's some free advise:
Listen to "Black Betty" and strive to be as cool as me.

A Revenge of the Sith rant. Possible spoilers, so be warned:

Here are the few problems I have with the film:
-Yes, no Jar Jar talking, but for the love of God George, KILL HIM OFF ALREADY!!! You know how excited the fans would have been for you to kill him. If you read this, get your people at Lucasfilm working on a new scene for the DVD where he is killed off. Oh, and I don't want it to be an accident or something, I want some brutal, youngling slaughtering type murder. Perhaps Anakin runs up to him and says "I've always hated you, you annoying bastard, trying to move in on my Padame!" and then cuts off his arms and legs, then as he lays on the ground, begging for his life, Anakin cuts off his head. I think that would be pretty rad.
-Not enough Wookies. Don't tease me like that George. There was an O.K. amount, but I would definitely liked to have seen more and maybe some of their day to day lives. (Speaking of Wookies, I did my impression at the theater and the people behind me told me how good it was. Why do I possess the great power to make an ass out of myself?)

And that's it for an otherwise perfect film.
